So a little on the cramped side, and leaning much more towards budget than the previous two we'd stayed at, this was a motel in the truest sense of the word. Space enough for the bed, with a closet big enough for a shower and toilet, there were no methods of cooling the place down apart from windows that didn't open so wide. Most of the day it felt like an oven, but (thankfully) did a pretty good job of cooling down at night.
Worthy of note; it did have a remarkably good vegetarian menu. Which considering the type of place was rather surprising.
It did have the most amazing view of Lake Manapouri, however:
